Troyes and Langes

We did two day trips for our two days in Signeville before heading off to ski.  First was Troyes.  We went there the day after arriving at Sig, a medieval town in Champagne.  It is a gorgoues town.  We hadn't been before and were rather taken with it.  It has the half timber housing look of the Alsace.

We had a delicious lunch in a bistro.

It was an incredible day, the weather put on it's finest performance.

The next day (30 Dec) we went to Langes for the day.  A pretty town but rather overshadowed by the sheer beauty of Troyes.   Lovely in it's own right though.

The drive from Signeville to Troyes, very beautiful in the frost.

Troyes.... nope not sure what it is either but makes a great photo!

A Kiwi girl outside Kiwi bar in ... Troyes.

Is that a hamburger and chips???

Andy and I had a rather rich (but good) risotto and a gorgeous piece of hake

And now for Langes....

Andy is the shadow....
