For our Christmas pressie to her we went
with the idea of doing something we NEVER EVER do here. We went to dinner. To a very lovely new place in the Grosvenor
House Hotel. Modern Turkish, called
Ruya. I did a lot of study (as I do) to find the perfect restaurant.
As it turned out, it is indeed a beauty. It also happens to be in walking distance. Katya looked gorgoeus and we had a sensational meal. The knock out was the
chocolate dessert Andy ordered and the rest of us had dessert envy in a rather serious way. He did manage to share though. He's good that way.
I'd go back here in a heartbeat and that's
saying something because we simply do not eat out here these days.
Andy's chocolate salted caramel dessert. The chocolate dessert to end all chocolate desserts! Unreal.
And there's the after party ... (well not so much but Katya and Andy chewing the fat)
