Nat Andy and Katya's 2016 Dubai Christmas

Andy was at work on a morning shift so me and Katya did the cooking.  I did the filleting however (I do love filleting fish and this salmon was a beauty). 

We did an Indian entree and main.  Entree of Prawn with Indian spice and tea dusting, with a prawn bisque broth.  Main of salmon with purple potato khichdi and tomato kadai sauce, dusted with purple potato powder and crisp purple potato.  

Dessert was definitely not Indian.  It was French.  Blackberry Frangipane cakes with lemon ice cream and freeze dried raspberries.  Very scrum indeed and an awesome Christmas.  Very different for Katya.  But I reckon she liked it for what it was.  We LOVED our pressie from her.  Yet to be named, they are in residence now in France.  They are SO CUTE!!! (that's for you K).
