Ettingheim, Germany

Our next road trip was to Strasbourg a few days later.

Ettenheim in the Schwartzwald is a little village on the way to Strasbourg and we decided to pop in for lunch.  Oh, what a cute wee spot.  Never heard of it until the night before our trip when Andy and I were looking for places to stop on the way.  It reminded me of Mittenwald.  Just plain black forest cute.

Classic black forest decorations (little flower carts and wee trinkets but done very beautifully outside each house, we’ve seen this many times in various towns in the region and is always a joy).  Again, unreal weather.  We went to a beautiful restaurant for lunch and it was one of those gorgeous stop offs that we will always remember.

No photos of Andy!  I think he must have taken all of these (well most, I see him in one).
