We went to Beaune on the way home from
Flavigny-sur-Ozerain so this is a little out of order now (oops).
Beaune is a Burgundy village we’ve scooted
by but never stopped to have a look.
It’s pretty. Very pretty and
being outside of the tourist season meant we could enjoy a lovely wander on a
beautiful early spring day.
I bought a fabulous knife and fork set, an
impulse buy and I’m very happy with them (just need to find their spot to
live!). We mooched around and ended out
just buying something from the pastry shop for lunch which we had on the way
home. It was a lovely ending to our
overnight jaunt.
