We stayed in the pretty town of Saint Galmier. The drive itself was really stunning right through the beautiful villages of Puligny Montrachet and Meursault. Then along the canal. Being sunflower season there was full on yellow for a lot of the drive.
These photos is from a day trip to Chambles and Montarcher, the highest village in the Loire.
