An absolute stunner of a hotel. We love Berlin, the vibe, the history, the acceptance. This time we decided to stay just out of the centre to enjoy quiet but pop into the centre of Berlin at a whim. The Schlosshotel im Grunewald was just the ticket.....set in a beautiful residential area with fabulous restaurants in walking distance. Neighbours are massive villas from eras gone by, beautifully restored. The magnificence of the Schloss is apparent on arrival and the meticulous detail inside is also represented in the garden and seating areas. The restaurant in the hotel was superb. Service throughout faultless.
The Grunewald is a beautiful park within 100m of the hotel and makes for the most sublime of morning runs.
Yes this somewhere we will return.
