I'd tried it once, when I was about 18....rather a long time ago (sigh) BUT NEVER had I attempted this delicious treat.
I made a very good lemon cake, made some very good lemon ice-cream. Shoved them in a mould, froze it then topped with merengue and then under the grill and blowtorched to finish. Served with freeze dried raspberries. YUM!!
