I like to be thrifty with my shopping.  It’s a natural habit.  Right now, meat is the core of the global food issue (but in fact I think it is flour and will probably extend to rice and grains).

Aside from that dullness, I bought this cut of pork in our local for 5 euro.  I trimmed it off (I do love my butchery when I get the chance) and cut it into large chunks for vindaloo which Andy will make.  The piece on the bone, not sure yet.  But the meat has been salted and dried in the fridge for a couple of days.

chunks for vindaloo

The rest to be roasted on the bone
