Our first proper non medical trip ....

Since Covid we've gone away once.  To Switzerland last August for medical purposes.  This was our first proper excursion.  It was a beauty of a trip.  We drove through pretty heavy rain at times gotta say.  But.  We went high into the Austrian, Italian and Swiss Alps.  We saw the most beautiful German, Austrian, Swiss and Italian villages.  We (Andy) drove the Stelvio Pass.  We stayed at incredible little places which were indescribably gorgeous.  A lot of driving.  4 tanks of gas.  The car didn't miss a beat.  And, I drove all the way home from the Appenzell region in Switzerland! We had 6 country boarders on our 4 nights away.  It was awesome.  And we loved our brekkies of sourdough toast with great french salted butter and ...... marmite. The photos are pretty hit and miss (mostly miss).  I either couldn't see what I was taking or we couldn't stop on the passes so many are from the car.  But anyhoo...we absolutely loved it.  Luckily Nudge survived the stress of the torrential rain back at the ranch.  He was in the spare room cupboard which I thought I'd locked before we left.  Oops.  Fanny checked on him and finally found him.  I talked with her this morning on my run and she said after the first day he stayed in the cupboard the entire time.  He was still in the cupboard when we got home!!!
